Meditation and mindfulness have become buzzwords. Meditation and mindfulness practices are about living life alive, passionate, and inspired with two feet firmly planted on the ground. There are many methods of meditation and mindfulness. It is essential that we each find what is correct for us. An effective Meditation Teacher begins wherever you are in your process. This is one of the benefits of one-on-one meditation instruction.
As my practice has developed over 25 years, I have discovered two important truths. First, my conception of meditation and mindfulness began with just 20-30 minutes a day of relaxation. I have since realized that that time is training me to stay relaxed and calm all day! This is still true 25 years later. The other revelation for me was becoming aware that the purpose of meditation and mindfulness was not about me and my needs and wants. Meditation and mindfulness prepare me to be of greater service to everybody and everything I come in contact with. This truth has possibly been my life’s most significant and rewarding shift. Through daily practice of meditation and mindfulness, I know why I am here on this planet and have a source of continued inspiration and guidance. What could be more important than this?
“Working with Michael changed my life (and probably still is). Michael is incredibly powerful and intuitive as a healer, guide, and teacher. He is also an incredibly dedicated, gentle, and generous friend. He has guided me towards connection with myself and the work I am called to do in the world, he has stood beside me in moments of my faltering and grief, and he has been around to check in with me in moments when I feel lost. He encourages me to ask myself hard questions, and he is unwilling to allow me to settle for anything less than the Truth. I don’t know what my life would look like without Michael in it, but I imagine I would not be where I am or continue to grow in the direction I am. I have much to thank Michael and earnestly encourage you to meet with him and see for yourself.” Ashley
