It’s time to tend the fire within, so your inner light may shine brightly through the fall and winter on this beautiful half-day retreat.

Join Ben Gettinger, DJ Mystical Michael (Michael Swerdloff), and Dr. Kathia Roberts Ph.D., as they guide you through a transformative exploration of the self. This half-day retreat will be hosted on a beautiful farmhouse property called The Mothership in Charlestown, Rhode Island. It is the perfect way to release energetic bonds that no longer serve you and illuminate your inner light as we head into fall and winter. Ben opens the ceremony with an invocation, invigorating breath-work, and gentle yoga designed for all levels. Then, DJ Mystical Michael (Michael Swerdloff) creates an ecstatic wave with his healing beats, guiding everyone into a free dance. Please note, there is no required dance ability to attend. This is simply a time for your body to move as it wants. If that means resting in a prone position that too is fine. Following the dance, Ben and Kathia implement drumming and vocals to lead you through a guided shamanic journey. Shamanic journeying is one of the oldest forms of meditation that allows you to access the deep inner wisdom often difficult to uncover in day-to-day living. In the final stage, Kathia continues to produce healing sound vibrations as Ben and an assembly of “Reiki Fairies” share individual hands-on healing.* The retreat closes with a ceremonial prayer and Heart Share. Heart Share is a time where people may speak of their experience with the group. Afterwards we will treat ourselves to a potluck dinner!

1:00-1:15 – Arrival/Sign-in

1:15-1:30 – Opening Talk

1:30 – 1:45 – Invocation/Opening Meditation

1:45 – 2:15 – Gentle All-Levels Yoga

2:15 – 3:00 – Ecstatic Dance

3:00 – 3:45 – Guided Shamanic Journey

3:45 – 4:30 – Reiki Sound Bath

4:30 – 4:45 – Ceremonial Closing

4:45 – 5:00 – Heart Share

5:00 – 6:00 – Potluck

Once registered, you will be sent a follow-up email with day-of instructions for the event.

*If you do not feel comfortable receiving hands on body work, there will be a discreet method available to express your wish not to be touched.

*There will be a bathroom onsite. During the dance and sound bath participates may quietly exit the space to use the facilities.
